One of my favorite things about photographing families is capturing the interactions between kiddos and their parents, especially when those interactions involve lots and lots of giggles. What struck me most about this family was how much fun they had together. The sisters would make each other laugh, which would make their parents laugh, which would make the girls laugh harder and it just doesn't get much better than that.

As a photographer, family sessions are fun because I get to see kiddos interacting with their parents and siblings. But extended-family sessions? Getting to photograph cousins together and parents with their adult children and grandkids with their grandparents and every other combination is just almost too great for words.

I wish I could have seen what the rest of the family was doing behind me to get the little guys to smile because they were having the best time with their cousins. Thank you all for such a fun session!

This family of four is so sweet together - I truly enjoyed getting to know them during our session! I loved getting a glimpse into life with kids this age - talking to them about football practices and games and junior high friends - so much fun! It's such a treat to spend time photographing families. This extended family session was no exception, especially since I got to photograph these two adorable kiddos with their parents, grandparents, aunt and almost-uncle! This family was so so so fun to photograph! Their beautiful mama shared with me that they were big sports fans, and they laughed so hard when I said the Pittsburg Popsicles instead of the Pittsburg Pirates. Preschool humor is the best. Getting to photograph these two brothers who were so incredibly sweet together was also the best. Thank you guys for such a fun session!
