This family of four is so sweet together - I truly enjoyed getting to know them during our session! I loved getting a glimpse into life with kids this age - talking to them about football practices and games and junior high friends - so much fun! It was really difficult for me to choose my favorites, but here are just a few:

It's such a treat to spend time photographing families. This extended family session was no exception, especially since I got to photograph these two adorable kiddos with their parents, grandparents, aunt and almost-uncle! This family was so so so fun to photograph! Their beautiful mama shared with me that they were big sports fans, and they laughed so hard when I said the Pittsburg Popsicles instead of the Pittsburg Pirates. Preschool humor is the best. Getting to photograph these two brothers who were so incredibly sweet together was also the best. Thank you guys for such a fun session!

This beautiful mama contacted me about taking pictures of her little guy since he's at such a fun age and changing so fast. What she didn't tell me (and I quickly found out) is just how much fun her littles are together and how they light up when they get to play with their parents. Little brother was so happy to show off his sitting and clapping skills and big sister was delighted to be swung and play "Ring Around the Rosie" with her mama. Spending time with this happy, relaxed family was such a treat. Throughout the session and as I edited, I couldn't stop smiling as their little girl's joy was just that contagious. I had the hardest time choosing my favorites because they were all so sweet together. I commented to this gorgeous mama that I never had to ask her to smile and she just said, "It's hard not to when you're around her," and I couldn't agree more.
