Photographing this family was such a treat! I loved talking with the little ones about Girl Scout Camp, kindergarten and what an awesome time they're going to have at the pool this summer. And I'm sure if baby brother could talk, he would have gone on and on about how much he loves his mama - he lit up every time he looked at her. Thanks, guys, for such a fun session!

When we met for our session, Big Sister hopped out of her "big girl" carseat and was ready to go! She was so sweet and loving, and even cheered, "Bravo!" after her mama and I sang to get her attention, which might have been the cutest thing ever. My favorite moment, though, was when Little Sister sat on her mama's lap and did this adorable little foot-clap! It was so much fun spending time with this family!

{Senior} Sterling, Virginia

It was so much fun getting to know this client during our session - I tried not to ask her about her future plans (mostly because I remember being a senior getting tired of talking about what was next) so instead we chatted about prom and her after school job and all the graduation celebrations she has coming up. My daughter will start kindergarten in September and I'm totally having a hard time with this, but photographing this senior reminded me of all I have to look forward to as she grows up.

I'm trying to put into words just how wonderful it was to spend a few hours with this family, but I can't. I can't find words to describe the pure joy this mama has in her eyes as she looks at her baby boy or the way her toddler's face lights up when he talks about his baby brother, so I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Spending time with this adorable family was so much fun. We chose a park with lots of space for the boys to run and explore, and I couldn't get over how fast they are. I also couldn't get over how much they adore each other and their parents. One of my favorite moments was when we tried to get a few photos of mom and dad by themselves and the boys all kept crawling in their laps!
